Levi Vincent

Levi Vincent is the most recent addition to the Orcas Island Pottery roster. Levi  spends his weekends and summers as a production potter at OIP, while working on his degree in Bellingham, WA. “I consider myself lucky to be able to make objects people use in everyday life. There is a certain “something” in a handmade object that is lacking in commercial ware. With this in mind, I try to make pottery that functions well for it’s intended purpose, yet is still pleasing to the eye.” Levi produces graceful, functional forms in everything from mugs and bowls to large lidded jars.  His work combines with Syd’s beautiful glazing to become the treasures that will someday be heirlooms.
